Limited warranty

Our warranty covers limited parts if a defect occurs due to normal and ordinary use of the scooter. Our warranty begins from purchase date and covers certain parts up to 24 months ( please see list below) or a maximum of 1,000km.

WARRANTY PROCEDURE

Should an issue occur during your warranty period and the part falls under VIPPA Limited Warranty Cover, we will work with you to ensure the replacement part is sent out to rectify the situation and get you up and riding as soon as possible.

STEP 1
Send an email to support@vippa.com.au with your scooter details, your name and mobile number.

Send a video that clearly identifies the issue, so our technicians can get a clear understanding of what the problem is. You'll need to be truthful in explaining the events that led to the issue or our technicians won't be able to assess your situation correctly. For example, if you were riding in the rain, your scooter then stopped working, we'll know from our VIPPA Water Safeguard Indicators within  the scooter. If you had an accident or suffered impact and then your scooter stopped working, we'll know from our Technical Analysis Report.

Whether the customer admits to Impact, Accidental Damage, Water Damage or not, it does not matter, we will make our verdict based on the evidence provided, this will form our Technical Analysis Report. Error codes will show on your LCD screen for issues with different scooter parts, each situation will require unique troubleshooting.

STEP 2
Once the video is received and analysed, you'll be sent instructions on how to troubleshoot the potential issue with the aim of getting the problem solved by you in your own home. For example, should the problem be something simple, like resetting the scooter system.

STEP 3
Should the 'home troubleshooting process' fail to fix the scooter, then all returns, repairs and servicing requests of VIPPA products are to be delivered to the VIPPA Brisbane warehouse for inspection and analysis by a VIPPA electric scooter Brisbane technician.

Interstate customers will be required to pay the return delivery costs of the scooter for any repairs and servicing required (including issues under warranty). VIPPA is not responsible for delivery costs for any products returned for repairs or servicing. Please consider this before purchasing interstate.

NOTE: If your scooter has been involved with Impact, Accidental Damage or Water Damage and it's discovered through our Technical Analysis or Water Safeguard Indicator, this is not covered by the VIPPA Limited Warranty, you'll need to purchase replacement parts. The technician costs for this discovery and repair are also not covered by VIPPA Limited Warranty.

We want to make this very clear, due to 90% of issues with electric scooter products being due to Impact, Accidental Damage or Water Damage. We at VIPPA Brisbane electric scooters have a zero tolerance policy on Impact, Accidental Damage or Water Damage to our electric scooter products.

It is highly recommended to not ride any electric scooter product in the rain, wet or through water logged areas. Avoid all water at all times.
